Statistics of the Philippines
1990 - 2004 By Bureau of Agricultural Statistics
DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
This is the second issue of Crops Statistics of the
Philippines, which
updates the annual data series to 2004. It contains the
revisions made on the
data on a few crops for 2003 to account for the results
of data validation activities
and latest available information. Statistics for earlier
years are presented in
selected points only, i.e. 1990, 1995 and 2000.
Thereafter, the data are
presented yearly up to 2004.
As in the previous issue, this publication presents
statistics of 21 major
crops which collectively account for 95 percent of total
crop production. More
than 20 minor priority crops are also included. These
crops are sub-divided into
Cereals, Fruit Crops, Non-Food and Industrial Crops and
Vegetable and
Rootcrops. |
