The exclusion of women food producers from official statistics and industry profiles means that they are likewise invisible in rural development processes. Thus, Centro Saka, Inc. embarked on an investigation into the current situation of women farmers in six crop sectors. The results of the survey are presented in this Rural Development Review monograph.
